Purpose
The Kentucky Orthopaedic Society strives to maintain ethical and professional standards in the practice of orthopaedic surgery in the State of Kentucky. Our goal is to optimize communication among Kentucky orthopaedists and increase the involvement of the KOS and its members in political advocacy activities.

Mission/vision
The mission of the Kentucky Orthopaedic Society is to make Kentucky a more attractive place to practice orthopaedics and to enhance the ability of Kentucky orthopaedists to provide quality care to their patients by providing educational programs, assistance with practice management issues, political advocacy on patient access issues, and mechanisms to help Kentucky orthopaedists communicate with each other more effectively.
