Benefits
The Kansas Orthopaedic Society (KOS) provides legislative representation by an experienced team of lobbyists that enables KOS to impact those issues which directly affect orthopaedic surgeons such as reimbursement, scope of practice and worker's compensation. KOS also works closely with state and national agencies in an effort to assure orthopaedic surgeons a voice in the regulatory process.
- Periodic communications help to keep members informed of activities and issues affecting them.
- Continuing medical education programs are presented on various topics at each annual meeting.
